Get Out There compared

An honest look at how Get Out There differs from other ways of finding things to do.

• Get Out There vs Meetup

Meetup is built around organiser-run groups with recurring events. Get Out There covers clubs and groups too, and adds promoted events, private plans with friends and a places guide, with a UK focus.

• Get Out There vs Facebook Groups

Facebook Groups are free and widely used, but events are scattered across many groups and hard to search. Get Out There puts local events, clubs and plans in one searchable, map-based place that doesn't need a social network account to browse.

• Get Out There vs Eventbrite

Eventbrite is a ticketing platform. Get Out There is a discovery platform: it lists events and links to the organiser's own booking page, and also covers free clubs, private plans and places.
